HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY, PRESTON!!!
I wanted to write a list of 30 things we like about Preston for his 30th birthday. If I had thought of it earlier, I would have asked Emilie and Ann too. But, for the three of us who are here, we wrote down 10 things each real quick. Some of them are the same, but we didn't look at each other's papers until we were finished. :)
Thirty things we love about Preston:
Rachel~
1. Knows Christ as his Saviour.
2. Is an awesome "read-aloud" book reader!
3. Protective of his sisters.
4. Gives nice hugs (except I have to hug him around his waist! :) )
5. Enjoys playing classical guitar.
6. Was a great playmate!
7. I liked sitting and reading to him when he was sick.
8. His laugh!
9. His heart for souls to be saved.
10. He's my brother!
Katie~
11. He's an awesome storyteller! (Remember "Telling on Nellie", Preston?)
12. He put the swing up in our great big, tall tree.
13. I thought it was pretty cool that he would be stiff as a board, and fall face first into the deep snow off the swing-set at the park.
14. He let us girls (Ann, Kristen and I) play house in his room when he was gone to Teshio to teach English.
15. My favourite brother. :)
16. He calls me Katiedid. :)
17. He called me for my birthday, and we had a really nice talk.
18. I love his laugh when he's really tickled.
19. He was fun to play 'King-of-the-Hill' with. ;)
20. He's so tall!
