Fun Friday with Family and Friends!

I'm rather late in getting this posted, but I wanted to tell you all about the great day we had on May 17th.
 Jordan was still here, and we hadn't taken him really anywhere for sightseeing. The Mansells, a missionary couple in Teshio, 2 hr. north of us, invited us to come up, and go to the reindeer farm with them for lunch. Jordan had never seen the ocean before, and the Mansells live very close to the ocean. And, since we would be going up there, we decided to go one hour farther north to Soya Misaki, the northernmost point of Japan. It's a great tourist place. ;)
 We left here around 8:00 in the morning, and asking the Lord to please keep the weather nice, so it wouldn't be really cold, and us not be able to enjoy the ocean. The weather up to that point had overall been cold, and even it even snowed some! But the Lord graciously gave us a beautiful day, and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! I'm going to attach lots of pictures, so I hope you enjoy them. :)
 We ate breakfast before we left, and as we were driving up we did family devotions. Around 10:00, we got to Uncle Ken and Aunt Vicki's (the Mansells). 

Every year at Thanksgiving, the missionary kids that are still growing, get measured by Uncle Ken, so he measured Jordan, even though he's not an MK. :)

We went to a park where there is a long roller slide, and Jordan had never been on one before. It was fun. :)

 We got to go up and see the Mather family. They live 3 hrs. north of us, and we don't get to see them very often, so that was really nice. :)

 This is what I ate and it was SO yummy! It was real ramen with pork cutlets. It was delicious! I haven't had real ramen for a long time!

We went to an ostrich farm too!

 I had never seen ostriches for real before! They're kinda cute... :)

 Then, as we came down the hill, and rounded a bend, we saw two deer where we had been earlier!

Then we headed home. It was a really good day! We listened to one of the Lamplighter stories, called the White Gypsy, and we sang lots of songs. We started singing songs from A to Z, but I think we only got to T. :) It was a wonderful day, and we made lots of fun memories! The Lord was very good to us.
